Maple Armor Announces Strategic Reorganization and Exclusive Distribution Agreement in Quebec

Maple Armor strategic reorganization announcement

Maple Armor is entering a new chapter. Following a period of sustained growth across North America, the company has completed a strategic reorganization of its Canadian operations and signed an exclusive distribution agreement covering the province of Quebec. Together, the two moves sharpen how the FireWatcher fire alarm platform reaches specifiers, integrators, and contractors throughout the region.

The reorganization focuses the business around three clear pillars: engineering and manufacturing of the FireWatcher addressable line, regional sales and application support, and distribution. By separating these functions, Maple Armor can invest more directly in product development while giving its partners a single, well-defined point of contact for quoting, technical questions, and after-sales service.

A Dedicated Partner for Quebec

The exclusive distribution agreement names a long-standing Quebec partner as the authorized source for Maple Armor products across the province. Engineers, electrical contractors, and life-safety integrators working on projects in Montreal, Quebec City, Laval, Gatineau, Sherbrooke, and the surrounding regions will now place their orders and coordinate commissioning support through this single channel.

The move consolidates inventory and technical staff closer to Quebec job sites. That translates into shorter lead times for panels, detectors, and accessories, faster response on CNESST-adjacent questions, and French-language support for specifiers and end users who prefer to work in their mother tongue.

What It Means for Customers

For existing customers, nothing changes about the FireWatcher platform itself. The same addressable panels, annunciators, detection devices, and notification appliances remain available, with the same ULC listings and the same field-proven designs. Warranty policies, technical bulletins, and firmware updates continue to be issued directly by Maple Armor.

What does change is access. Bid quotations, stocking packages, and training sessions can now be coordinated through a Quebec-based team with direct ties to the manufacturer. The new structure also opens the door to more in-region events, hands-on product labs, and joint visits with Maple Armor engineers on complex projects.

The reorganization reinforces Maple Armor's long-term commitment to the Canadian market and to the province of Quebec in particular. The company thanks its customers for their continued trust and looks forward to delivering even stronger service under the new structure.
