Fire Alarm System Installation: The former warehouse located at 2506 37th Street in Vernon, British Columbia, was recently transformed into a temporary homeless shelter and underwent extensive renovations. This building, which belongs to BC Housing, is intended to provide daily meals, storage space, laundry services and residential cleaning.

Our partner First Response Fire Protection was mandated with the renovations concerning the installation and activation of the fire alarm system by the engineers responsible for the renovations of this building. Since these engineers had the chance to participate in one of our webinars, they were looking to integrate our products into one of their projects. Thanks to the cost-effectiveness and availability of our fire alarm products, Maple Armor proved to be the ideal solution for them!

The new system includes the FW106 control panel, the FW122 annunciator with waterproof housing, FW511 smoke detectors, FW721 manual stations and the FW962 horn/strobe.

The customer was more than satisfied with the user-friendliness of the Maple Armor system. They praised us for the technical support we offered them. They even told us that this is one of the reasons why they will use the Maple Armor product line for their next projects.

On October 18, a fire occurred in this emergency accommodation center, which forced the 85 residents of the center to quickly find new temporary housing. Thanks to the rapid response of staff, everyone was evacuated and everyone was safe. As for the building, the damage was limited. We are therefore very happy and very proud to know that our system has helped save several lives!
