OUR STORY Founded in 2011 , Maple Armor was established in the beautiful, technological hub of Brossard, Quebec, with the purpose of disrupting the fire alarm industry’s status quo. We provide cutting-edge addressable fire alarm systems and detection equipment as well as solutions for our North, Central, and South American customers. With a warm welcome from Investissement Quebec, the company gravitated toward vibrant and multilingual Montreal for its skilled workforce. In 2017 , we opened our brand new 80,000-square-foot facility in Brossard, Quebec, on Montreal’s south shore. It houses our Research & Development, Sales & Marketing, and Technical Support teams as well as our warehouse and quality control labs. With production lines expected to be up and running at our facility in 2022 , we will be able to ensure the highest quality products while remaining competitive in the global marketplace. FW831 RELAY MODULE The FW831 is an addressable relay module that provides two control relay outputs which will be activated simultaneously. The active status of the relay output is indicated by flashing red LED. VIEW DATASHEET FIRE ALARM RELAY MODULE The FW831 is an addressable module and takes one address on the addressable loop (ALU) of the fire alarm control panel. It is a UL listed product according to UL864 and ULC-S527 for Fire Protective Signaling Systems for indoor use. Relays are form-C with all contacts accessible. Capabilities The relay alarm module FW831 provides two control relay outputs which will be activated simultaneously. When the outputs are activated, the device LED will indicate the event condition by fast blinking. It integrates an external door, two mounting plates, and a backbox.
