FedEx Ground recently moved into the newly built 250,000 square foot distribution facility strategically located at 365 Black Diamond Boulevard, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The new premises’ primary function will be to handle critical, time-sensitive packages that come through the facility via over-the-road semi-trailer trucks. The team at SI Alarms were able to assist with the fire alarm system design thanks to their strong relationship with the electrical engineer and electrical wholesaler for the project and Maple Armor proved to be the best solution for this project.
The new fire alarm system includes Maple Armor’s FW106 control panel; the FW122 annunciator; the FW511 smoke detectors; the FW521 heat detectors; the FW962 horn/strobes; and the FW982 strobes. The system also required Maple Armor’s FW811 Input modules; FW831 Relay modules; and FW851 Isolator modules.
